Description

A beautiful and easy-to-use bracelet base made from stainless steel. The bracelet features a sliding bead adjustment that lets the size adapt easily to different wrists. The total chain length is 22 cm.

Small jump rings at the ends of the bracelet base let you attach a jewelry link, a pendant, a focal piece, a bead component, or another lightweight decoration. Thanks to the slide clasp, the bracelet doesn't need to be made to an exact wrist size, which makes the base practical for both gifting and pieces made for sale.

The chain is a dense box chain / Venetian chain type that looks neat and drapes beautifully on the wrist. Small beads at the ends of the chain finish off the piece and make the adjustment chains easier to handle.

Frequently asked questions about the product

What types of jewelry does this slide-clasp bracelet base suit best?

This bracelet base is best suited to clean, timeless jewelry designs where easy assembly, adjustable sizing, and a neutral metal tone are the priorities.

What kind of component works well in the center of the bracelet?

The best fit for the center of the bracelet base is a lightweight, fairly low-profile piece that sits evenly on top of the wrist. Good options include jewelry links, small metal pendants, beaded links, flat resin components, stone components, and other lightweight decorations.

The center piece shouldn't be too heavy or too tall, so the bracelet doesn't keep turning around during wear. Once the piece is finished, it's worth checking that the center component stays nicely on top of the wrist and that the slide adjustment still works normally.

How does the bracelet's slide clasp work?

The bracelet's size is adjusted by sliding the bead in the middle along the chains. Pulling the slide bead closer to the wrist side tightens the bracelet. Moving the bead away from the wrist loosens it.

Inside the slide bead is a silicone piece that helps keep the bead in place around the chains. The small beads at the ends of the chains stop the chains from sliding all the way out of the adjuster bead and finish off the look of the piece.

Does a separate clasp need to be added to this bracelet base?

No. On this bracelet base, the size is adjusted using the slide bead, so no separate lobster clasp or extension chain is needed.

Once the bracelet's center piece is attached to the jump rings at the ends of the chain, the piece is ready to wear. The slide clasp also makes the bracelet easy for the wearer to put on and adjust themselves, without needing to close a small clasp behind the wrist.

Is this bracelet base suitable for jewelry made for sale?

Yes. An adjustable bracelet base is a practical choice for jewelry made for sale, since the same piece fits many different wearers. This is especially useful for bracelets sold online, where the customer can't try the piece on before buying.

Steely Pop's jewelry findings meet the EU's REACH requirements, which makes it easier to produce safe, compliant jewelry for sale as well. It's a good idea to state the material information clearly to the customer, for example: stainless steel 304.
